Bret Michaels isn't just in good hands -- he's being treated at one of the most prestigious neurological centers on the planet.
According to Bret's rep, Michaels is a patient at the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix -- home of the world famous Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center.
Bret's neurosurgeon, Dr. Joseph Zabramski, has also released a statement saying there's "no doubt" Bret's condition is "serious" ... but adds, "Bret's sheer will to live and fully recover is undeniable."
Dr. Zabramski says he's had several conversations with Bret since he first arrived to the center.
The doc claims Bret explained that he refused to succumb to the brain hemorrhage because he "did not want his family to wake up and see him lying unconscious in the middle of the floor."
A press conference about Bret's condition will be held on Tuesday at 12 PM.
Catherine Bach's Husband Found Dead

Peter Lopez -- the husband of Catherine Bach from "The Dukes of Hazzard" -- was just found dead in Los Angeles ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
Paramedics responded to a report of a shooting at Lopez's home in Encino at around 11:30 AM. Cops tell TMZ his death is being investigated as an apparent suicide.
Bach married Lopez -- who was one of Michael Jackson's music attorneys -- in 1990. They have two children together.

has learned former UFC champ Tito Ortiz and baby mama/former porn star Jenna Jameson are withdrawing allegations that led to Tito's felony domestic violence arrest earlier this week.
Jenna, who accused Tito of injuring her during an argument, now tells TMZ, "What actually happened has now been dramatically distorted and misinterpreted and remarks that both Tito and I made after the police arrived reflect the state of shock that we were both in." Translation -- he didn't hurt me.
As for Tito, we're told he's now backing off what he strongly insinuated ... that Jenna is an OxyContin addict. We're told Tito's position now is that he found two OxyContin pills and may have jumped to conclusions. Jenna says the pills were very old. And, as we first reported, Jenna tested negative for drugs this week.
Tito's lawyer, Chip Matthews, tells TMZ the whole thing was "a big misunderstanding."
One more thing ... Sources say Tito stands to lose $15 million if he's prosecuted for domestic violence -- the money accounts for his UFC contract as well as other businesses.

Gilbert Arenas -- the Washington Wizards basketball player who pled guilty to felony gun charges in January -- has more gun problems ... TMZ has learned.
We've obtained a lawsuit filed against Arenas by Tactical Operations -- a company that sells high-end guns.
According to the lawsuit, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Arenas bought five custom Beretta pistols with five silencers in February of 2006. Arenas paid for the guns, BUT....
Tactical Operations claims Arenas never took possession of the weapons -- and owes the company over $70,000 in storage fees and interest.

Sandra Bullock and Angelina Jolie share a very interesting connection -- and it all has to do with their adopted babies Louis Bardo and Maddox, respectively ... and the timing of their divorces.Sandra told People Magazine she and Jesse James set the wheels in motion to adopt Louis Bardo together ... but divorce changed the plan. Sandra now says she's filing for single parent adoption.
TMZ has learned that's exactly what happened between Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton. Although this has not been reported, sources connected with their divorce in 2003 tell Angie and B.B. were going to jointly adopt Maddox, but when they decided to divorce, the plan changed and Billy Bob backed out of the adoption.
Adoption experts we've spoken with say turning a husband/wife adoption into a single parent adoption can complicate the adoption process ... but it seems to have worked out for both Angelina and Sandra.

As if the Hilton family wasn't filthy rich enough ... a global weight loss company claims it's been paying Paris Hilton's parents huge chunks of money for no reason whatsoever.
Herbalife International just filed a lawsuit against Rick and Kathy Hilton, claiming the couple has been "erroneously" receiving royalties for several weight loss
products for roughly 8 years.
Long story short -- Herbalife says in 1992, the couple provided services to the company to get a line of products off the ground ... products containing ephedrine that were discontinued in 2002 -- mostly because ephedrine was banned by the FDA.
Herbalife claims despite 86'ing the line .... it has still been paying the Hiltons royalties. According to the suit, there have been ongoing but futile discussions about how much, if anything, the Hiltons should return.

Michael Lohan tells tomorrow is D-day for Lindsay Lohan -- either meet with him or he's going to court. But the meeting now has a curious string attached.
Michael says he's been communicating with Lindsay since he went on Live last Thursday -- telling her he will not take legal action to protect Ali from Lindsay nor will he go to court for a Britney-like conservatorship IF she sits down with him face-to-face and hashes things out.
Here's the catch. On Live, Michael said he wanted to sit with Lindsay and Ali -- just the three of them ... no one else. Now he's telling us he wants to sit with Lindsay and his lawyer. BUZZKILL.
Last Michael told us, he was hiring attorney Lisa Bloom -- a very good, very smart lawyer, and daughter of Gloria Lisa also just happens to work for an entertainment TV show.
Jesse James Vandalism Case Put on Hold

has learned the investigation into Jesse James' recent run-in with a paparazzo has been put on hold because cops haven't been able to speak to Jesse since he's been in rehab ... this according to sources close to the case.
As first reported, James and a placed each other under citizen's arrest during a confrontation on March 25. The paparazzo accused James of vandalism; James countered with accusations of stalking.
But a law enforcement source tells us the investigation is at a dead end until cops can speak to James.
The Long Beach PD confirmed the case was on hold but would not comment as to why.

Ray Charles' granddaughter is under attack from the legendary singer's former band member -- a man who claims he can prove Blair Robinson never had an inappropriate encounter with Steven Seagal.
spoke with Damien Ross -- a longtime friend of Ray's who claims he set up a meeting between Blair and Seagal at a Memphis hotel back in 2004, so Seagal could interview her for a personal assistant position.
As we previously reported, Blair signed a sworn declaration in support of Kayden Nguyen's lawsuit against Seagal -- in which Blair claims Seagal followed her to her hotel room and expected "sexual favors." Blair claims she told her mom about the encounter and left the next day.
But Ross claims Blair never had a hotel room where Seagal was staying -- and insists he was present with Blair during her entire 10-15 minute encounter with the actor. Ross also claims Blair and Seagal were never alone.
Seagal's lawyer, Marty Singer, tells "Ms. Robinson was never employed by Steven Seagal and never received any compensation from any entity even though she claimed to have worked more than six years ago for my client."

Charlie Sheen's marriage to Brooke Mueller is on life support, but Brooke has not decided to move out of the house or end the marriage ... at least not yet.
"Brooke is absolutely frickin' ballistic that he is seeing this hooker while she is working on the marriage," a source very, very close to the situation tells TMZ.
Photos surfaced last week of Charlie wearing a disguise and allegedly leaving a high-end hooker's apartment, something Charlie's rep denies.
Several magazines are reporting that Brooke has moved out of the house and the couple is splitting, but we're told that hasn't happened. One source says, "Brooke's stuff is still at the house. She spent the last two days living at a spa, but she hasn't moved out and she hasn't split with Charlie."
The source adds, "She's absolutely crazed that her children's father would shave his head, put on a disguise, wearing pajama bottoms and come out of a hooker's house so that some day his children will see this."

Ambre Lake, the Season 2 winner of "Rock of Love," tells TMZ she's spoken with people who are close to Bret who say he's stabilized and conscious.
Lake's tale matches another contestant who has also spoken with Bret's bandmates.
We're told the next 24 to 48 hours are critical -- Bret will be closely monitored.

FBI Investigated Sandra Bullock Murder Plot

TMZ has learned the FBI investigated a tip about a murder plot against Sandra Bullock that was allegedly arranged by Jesse James' mistress Bombshell McGee -- but the FBI ultimately deemed the tip "not credible."Law enforcement sources confirm that roughly two weeks ago, McGee's ex-husband, Shane Modica, reported that he received a call from a man in Missouri who claimed Bombshell wanted to put a hit on both Modica and Bullock ... and the mystery caller claimed he was the person who was supposed to carry out the hits.
Sources tell us Modica reported that the caller claimed he received his killing orders before the cheating scandal came to light.
Law enforcement sources confirm that the man in Missouri contacted his local FBI office to inform them about the situation -- and the FBI then contacted the local sheriff's office.
We're told the sheriff's office told the FBI they had prior run-ins with the Missouri caller -- a person said to have had a head injury that caused him to "lose sense of reality." Furthermore, authorities have no reason to believe McGee ever contacted the man.
The FBI in Missouri notified the FBI in Los Angeles -- but sources tell TMZ that investigators concluded the threat was bogus.
When called for comment, the FBI had no comment on the situation.
